ANOTHER MOTORWAY SERVICE STATION?

Smithy Wood near Chapeltown, on the outskirts of Sheffield has appeared on maps for hundreds of years.  Smithy Wood is in Sheffield’s Green belt. It is an Ancient Woodland and contains rare and vulnerable species. It has survived for hundreds of years despite threats from M1 construction, mining, electricity cables and fire.

Now it needs our help to protect it from the developers of a motorway service area (MSA)  More OBJECTION details here
